Why wouldn’t we just hire a full time designer?
Hiring a full-time senior-level designer will cost you upwards of 90K+, not to mention benefits, onboarding, etc - all the lovely overhead you need for a full-time employee. Plus, you may not always have enough work to keep the designer busy. With our monthly plans, you have the flexibility to pause and pick up your subscription as often as you need and truly utilize your budget to the fullest extent.
Why not just hire a freelancer from Upwork or fivvr?
While there is a chance you can find a rockstar designer on platforms like these, but more often than not, they are filled with new designers or side-hustlers. Rarely are seasoned professionals on the platforms and your experience will be subpar.
You are free to go nuts! Once you are a member, you are free to put in as many requests in the que as you’d like. Each request will be delivered one by one.
Is there a limit to the amount of requests?
How fast will I receive my designs?
On average, most requests are completed in just two days or less. While more complex requests may take longer, we pride ourselves on communication, organization and prioritization. We will keep you informed every step of the way with updates and planning for those more complex projects.
How do I submit requests?
Misfits offers a ton of flexibility in how you request designs using Trello. Some common ways clients request designs is a message directly via Trello, sharing Google docs or wireframes, or even recording a brief Loom video (for those who prefer not to write their briefs out). Basically, if it can be linked to or shared in Trello, it's fair game.
Due to the high quality nature of the work, there will be no refunds issued.

We are an agency of 3, with a collected 40+ years of experience who have created, ideated, and lead design teams for Fortune 500 corporate companies, global clients and agencies. With us, you will have peace of mind that you are working with true professionals and have an amazing experience while you’re at it.
We understand you may not have enough design work to fill up entire month and that’s totally okay! That's where you are free to pause your subscription. Billing cycles are based on 31 day period. Let's say you sign up and use the service for 21 days, and then decide to pause your subscription. This means that the billing cycle will be paused and you'll have 10 days of service remaining to be used anytime in the future. Just send us a quick message, and we’ll take care of that for you!

How do you handle larger requests?
We break down larger requests into phases, that way you still receive updates and work quickly to ensure the overall project is progressing. Projects like this would be full-scale website or mobile app designs, UI/UX work, and also some print work such as complex manuals or installations. You should expect to receive a reasonable amount of work every 24-48 hours until the entire request is done.
For digital projects, we most often use Figma, but mainly whatever we need to make sure the project is set up optimally, we’ll use it.
For print work, or large scale installations, we use Adobe Creative Suite programs such as InDesign or Illustrator.
For Web design, we work on a variety of platforms. Wix, Squarespace, Webflow. The only thing we don’t touch is WordPress.

What if I don’t like the design?
No worries! We’ll refine it until you are 100% satisfied.
There is. Misfits does not cover the following design work: 3D modeling, animated videos, and complex packaging. We do know some folks if you need that work - just ask and we’ll be more than happy to recommend a great designer!
Is there any work you don’t do?
We won’t judge. You can pause your subscription when finished and return when you have additional design needs. There's no need to let the remainder of your subscription go to waste.
What if I only have one request?
How Are reviews of Designs conducted?
Super easy! We will upload the version of the design via Trello, and let you and all your team have a chance to look at it. Once you have gathered your feedback, just attach it to the version, and we’ll refine it accordingly.
Is there an onboarding process for new Members?
Of Course! We don’t want you to invest without knowing how to fully utilize your subscription. Once you’ve become a member, we’ll schedule a quick 30 min. zoom to show you the ropes and answer any questions you might have before getting started. We can conduct onboarding for individuals and teams alike!
